Langley Tire Reef is my favorite. There is a lot to see and explore.. There is parking right next to the entry as well as decent bathrooms with hot showers. Crabbing is fun here especially when you swim past all the pots with no crab in them and or bag is stuffed!!!

newport oregon south finger jetties are my favorite, I found 7 nudi's on one dive, lots of spearfishing for lingcods and rockfish
Hey, I like the fingers too - especially since I live in Newport. Let me know if you want a dive buddy sometime.

I've found the 3rd finger to be my favorite. Swimming down the west side to the end and back on the east side will take a tank. Very tide sensitive, high slack is advised. Saw a grunt sculpin there last dive. One tiger rockfish, many lings, many black rockfish, giant barnicles, kelp, much more.

I want to night dive this.

I'll second Day Island Wall and add Sunrise to the mix.

At this point in time (3 1/2 years of diving in the Sound), my current favorites are the Possession Point Ferry, which has been a fabulous dive every time I have done it (Porthole Charters is a good way to do this one), and Waterman's Wall, which is outrageous. I don't know if any commercial boat goes there, and it's an advanced dive, because the top of the wall is at about 85 feet, and it's highly current sensitive, but the structure and the life on it are gorgeous.

Keystone Jetty and Skyline Wall on Whidbey are pretty amazing dives, too; both current-sensitive and Skyline involves a bit of a surface swim, if you don't have a scooter.

I dived Skyline for the first time yesterday and, you are right TSandM, it was great even if the visibility was pretty poor.

The rocks, the wall and the giant barnacles empty shells create an under waterscape full of holes and cracks where all sorts of marine life attaches to or hide into. I saw invertebrates that I haven't seen anywhere else on Fidalgo or Whidbey Islands.

The encounters with a leather star from 'outer space' (it was massive! I did not think that it can grow up to about 2ft!) and a beautiful big Red Irish Lord with orange cup corals in the background (just to mention few of the animals that live there) was mesmerizing and now I cannot wait to go back there.

To surface swim to the site was not a problem, I don't think it was that far.:)

Glad to hear you guys liked Skyline! What I've heard is that it is known for marginal viz, and certainly, it hasn't been spectacular any time I've been there, but we have had plenty to see the color and the profusion of critters.

We did Waterman's yesterday . . . That's absolutely my favorite Puget Sound dive at present. The combination of topography and profuse life is fabulous!

Some shots from my dive with TSandM at Waterman's on Sunday ...

Is Waterman another boat dive?:depressed:

Yup ... unless you can convince one of the local homeowners to allow you access to the water ...
