I will also be bringing some mango salsa and chips. Making the carmel corn tonight (yum yum!!!)

Looking forward to diving again. The stitches came out yesterday and I have the OK to dive! Whoo Hooo!!!

It kills me to do this but I am going to have to miss the party. For the first time in years I came down with strep (sp) throat this week. I was holding out hope that it would get better but it is obvious now there is no way I would be able to dive saturday. My throat feels like I've been eating brillo pads. In fact even eating and drinking (my other two favorite pastimes) aren't real pleasant right now. This sucks because I looked forward to meeting so many of you that I have talked to on this board. Honestly this has nothing to with with CBullas empty promise of fried turkey. I even got a new dive computer this week and was looking forward to trying it out.

On a side note Colin, I had a friend in town last weekend and we took the zodiac up to venice. It was actually very efficient as a little dive boat but you really have to plan well so you aren't taking more than you need. We put in at Alhambra and headed out to the boneyard making the trip in about 10-15 minutes. Getting in and out was much easier than expected. After that we moved the boat back to Alhambra. The only down side really is the set up and take down, especially the take down part since you are tired by then. If I wanted to go up and just do a quick dive and come home I'm not sure it's worth the work, but if you have a situation where you are going to just spend the day diving different locations it works really well and uses almost no fuel. It was a lot easier with two people sharing the work though I can tell you that. Have I talked you into it yet?

Hey, we can have fried turkey if your willing to bring it :D

Trust me, if I fried the turkey, you wouldn't want to eat it!:D No problem, I'll stop at Publix & get a couple of tubs of chicken.:D

i'll swing by costco and get some of those mini-brownies (always good after a dive...before a dive...or anytime of the day really)...all this talk of "fruit" sounds far too healthy.

Krawdaddy - yes, I'm sold! Sounds like the perfect, cheap, beach dive boat!

OK - the talk of foods has my tummy grumbling :D

I'm very excited about this weekend - this will be the 2nd time I've been in the water this year.. can you say busy!

ok I wanted to try this shark tooth diving for a long time now.
I'v only been to one scubaboard meet and it was a clean up day
so how exactly does this work? Is there around about time
every one meets on the beach to eat or is it every man /woman for themself:rofl3:

will most do one dive or two?

i see no bread on the list so i guess i'll get that
also do we need plates and plasticware ?
and do you eat on the beach or is there a park or something there?

first time just want to be prepared.

p.s. will i need to bring a wheel barrel to put all my teeth in
