Hola Chica! Welcome to the board. :)

The problem is there are no "girls" diving in Florida, they are all in California.

We are? When did this trip happen? Too bad I missed it, I'd enjoy diving out that way again.

Then again, are you saying I am not a woman? Holy canoly how am I going to explain this to my family and friends? :martian: Grief, I hope they don't disown me. Aye carumba!

What about the other girls in Florida? Wonder if they have been made aware they really aren't women. Wow, this is big news. And "our" fellas boy the ribbings they are going to have to endure. What a can of worms has been opened here. What to do, what to do. Sorry Muddiver - couldn't resist :wink1:

Anywhoozle, RSB, you are a mighty long way from here or we could set something up with the Tampa group. Look around the board for the OriskanyDiveMaster - he does charters out to the Mighty O and you may be able to hook up with someone there.

Good luck! :D

No beach diving in Jax at all. The St. John's river flows north out into the ocean and mucks up the vis at the beach 99.9999999% of the time. Plus is only sand right off the beach so the bad vis keeps you from seeing "nothing". Can go off shore. Have some decent artificial reefs. Like Palatka said... Atlantic Pro Dive would be the one to call.

What? Really? *looks around* Hmm. California sure looks... flat.... and sunny.... and.... Florida-like... :14:

There ARE women divers in Florida. I'm certainly one! (At least, last time I checked...) =P

And... welcome aboard the Board, RoknSea. =)

Four and counting :wink1::wink1:

Muddiver, I'm thinking you might owe us FL gals room and board at your place when we come out to dive :) :)

Have at it, if you think you ALL can fit in my little townhouse :D

Good luck is right about diving the Mighty O in Jacksonville since the Mighty O is in Pensacola, 360 miles away.
Even at the speeds I drive, that's a 3.5 hour drive :11:

There is good diving in Jax if you don't mind 20 mile boat rides. The only "dives on the beach" are a few of the bars and restaurants.

Thanks a lot everyone. After all the fuss, we have decided to change our plans. Now we are going to a different part of Florida that I know very well. Thanks for all the tips and now I know what to expect if I do dive Jax!

Flat? We have down hill skiing in the winter months up in those 10,000 foot flat mountains you are referring to. How close is the nearest ski resort in FL?

You got the sunny and florida like right. We even have parrots now. :D

RoknSeaBabe love the music. Checked out your bands web page, cool. :rocker:
