Hi,
Sorry, my first post but I think this relates to this thread.
Just came back from BH late last night. The compressor was running Friday but not Saturday or Sunday. The weekend early afternoon temps were great ... about 70 in the sun. I did a night dive Friday in a 7mm and was comfortable until post dive. My hands felt frozen 5 minutes after I took my gloves off. The USAFA had a class there but after they left it was just a half dozen in an OW class. Enjoy your trip!

Hi Stryderone, and welcome to Rocky Mountain Oysters, and ScubaBoard. Do you know why the compressor wasn't running Sat or Sun? Was there no call for it, or has it been taken out of service for the move?

Hey Kevin, Looking forward to seeing you down there. Cant wait to try the new setup. My weighting should be about the same minus the bouyancy of my Seaquest Balance (~3 or 4 lbs I think). Best part is I should have plenty of time on Fri. without the pack of schools standing on the steps. :)

Thanks for the welcome!
The compressor was working Friday night so there may have been no call for it. I did not see anyone around except when they collected the permit fees on Saturday. The USAFA group only did a couple dives and the OW class had all the air they needed. I brought 5 myself. I had heard that Stella is somewhat at odds with the city as they want her to volunteer her time in lieu of pay.

Hey Kevin.. oll' buddy, oll' pal!

What are the odds of me diving your doubles... again! :dork2:

I've tried Stella a couple of times, but no answer (and no answering machine!).

I'll get her!

Well..... ok. If you have to. :eyebrow:

Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome Stryderone!

There's something interesting! Fireworks early this year!!

It looks like the weather is deteriorating for the end of this week, calling for snow Thursday and Friday. :shakehead:

It looks like the front has slowed down or stalled, and is pushing the good weather out until next week.

Has anyone talked to Stella? Is the compressor working?
It's going to be a fun drive getting down there this time. It's supposed to snow quite a bit tomorrow. I'll be leaving late Friday morning. My brother, Tom, will probably be driving in the snow tomorrow. Good thing he does that kind of thing for a living.

Yep! Been watching that weather system too! Looks like it will be decent on Saturday and downright balmy on Sunday. Friday looks dicey though.....

It looks like I will be there for the weekend. Leave from work around 12:30, Friday.

Ron, I should be able to do a night dive with you guys.

I look forward to seeing everyone.

That great news Dan! Looking forward to seeing you. :lotsalove:

Now we just need a little cooperation from the weather and we'll be all set.

Oh, and air - has anyone got a hold of Stella?? It would be a real bummer for a dozen of us to show up and not have any air! :11:
