Sounds excellent.

I'm most likely going to leave my house around 7:30PM CST on Saturday evening. That will put me in Santa Rosa around 9PM MST. I'll PM you guys and exchange cell phone numbers so that if anything changes you will know.

I'm not sure where Kevin is planning on staying either... I suppose I should find out since I'm rooming with him. :)

Tell me what to bring or what is needed for cooking out. I feel like a bum when I show up with no food.

I usually stay at the LaQuinta, since I get points and do get a decent rate.

I plan on bringing stuff for brats (brats, buns, mustard and some cheese). I'll bring my little grill since it's easy to set up and cook on. I agree with the too much food comment. That usually happens...... better to be there than the other option!!

It's good that the weather is looking up for this weekend, but I've seen some call for winds on Sat. so, I'm bring a tarp to wrap around one of the picnic tables to shield the wind. Also a propane heater to take the chill off.

Looking forward to our year end dive bash!

If I did a correct translation of real names to board names, all of you going should have a PM with my cell phone number and email address.

Being new to this group, anything I can bring to support the brat effort or otherwise? About the only "otherwise" I can offer is some cave diving DVDs (commercial, not my own) if anyone's interested, for instance.

I'm planning on leaving the 'springs about 11am, which will hopefully put me in SR by 6pm. I'd like to join you on the night dive, but I'll reserve the call until I get there and see if I'm comfortable with a night shakedown dive (which translates to if I make it there on time, there's a 95% chance I'll do the dive :))

Ron, any suggestions on how to link up when I get there? I'll be driving a silver Honda Ridgeline with the Colorado license "O2HEN2".

Roak

Ps. I go by "Roger" in person :)

Guys, it is with great disappointment, but I will have to thumb the dive. I've come down with a cold, and the coughing kept me up most of the night. I don't think it would be wise to attempt to dive. :no

I was so looking forward to diving and seeing all of you, along with breaking in my new dive computer and new digital camera. :( I would also have completed my 100th dive too.

I hope the weather holds for you, and you all have a great dive.

Well this is a bit of a dilemma. I was going to share ride and hotel with Rick, but that's not happening.... Than I thought no problem, I'll hook up with Roger, but realize he is not planning on coming back until Monday, and I need to be back Sunday... sigh...

I'll make some calls and try to put this together without having to go solo the entire weekend....

I am planning on being there on Sat., just trying to figure out the time, was thinking late morning. Kevin, what time where you planning on being there?
PS - Trish is making cookies

Hmmmm, you got my attention now!! :rofl3:

I plan on being out there no later than 8:30-9am.

I'm up in Northern Wisconsin right now, but I'm snoopin in on your plans!:0 No, I'm not cutting holes through the ice in Lake Superior! Left the drysuits at home.

Ron, I thought that you got a fuel effecient car recently?? Maybe its time that you bite the bullet, and just drive on down!!!:D

We're a go! Ron will be at my house about 11am tomorrow!

I purchased a Subaru Outback, so about 28 MPG. However if I go solo, gas $100 or so, Hotel Solo $117, and then add in meals, and it costs me 250 or more.

I've been to the Hole five out of the last six months. If I do that solo I could just go to Coz instead! :D

I did drive down myself last Aug, and Camped. That made the trip reasonable, but camping now is hmmm OUT OF THE QUESTION! :rofl3:

As for biting bullets, I've been attempting to cover XMAS, and energy costs along with other expenses on a salary that is shrinking based on the rising cost of everything while my Salary remains constant! :shakehead: XMAS, a PS3, driveway grating, propane, a few cords of oak, and snow tires for two cars have left me rather broke (I attempt to act like I don't have savings, and credit cards!).

This worked out, and I was considering driving down by myself. But with four others going down from CO, seems like that should not be necessary, and it's not. It's not like I have not done the Hole a LOT!

We should be in Santa Rosa by 5:00pm tomorrow evening. Looking forward to the trip!

I'm glad things are working out. I'm already jealous, and you haven't left town. I was so looking forward to this trip. Well, I guess it's time to start planning one for Jan? :lotsalove::popcorn:
