I'll probably rarely use the drygloves as the conditions around here shouldn't require them often. I'd like having the option though. Thats why I went with the kubi's instead of qcs+rolock, as even though I like the twist mechanism the o-ring for the rolock's would be exposed most of the time. Sorry @lexvil , @Boarderguy and his kubi's win this time . I wish showa's were made in other colors than the smurfs but i'll try a few models and see what suits me best. I don't think i will have to use very thick liners for the gloves, would rather keep the dexterity.

It pretty easy to just use the oval rings when you don’t want or need dry gloves and use the superior system when you do want to stay dry.

The esd 660 gloves can be found in black, I use 3415 Showa also in black, you don’t need to have blue hands.

I use the CS710 Showa gloves versus CS720 or CS660. They are mostly grey, and the thin grey coating on those nitrile gloves is very tactile/grippy and stays quite flexible even when the water temp approaches freezing. You can see my gloves in the foreground (on rolock90 rings) compared to a buddy's smurfy blue gloves behind on a lesser dry glove system. By that same token, I use 4th element G1 neoprene glove liners almost exclusively. They are warm, tactile, and the one time I managed to cut a glove, the neoprene glove liners essentially just become wet gloves for the rest of that dive, still insulating.

Won't repeat what was said above, but you want to be able to reach your cutting tool with either hand.
I carry mine on waist strap, near the buckle.

I regret the factory trilobite mounting point I had stitched into my left sleeve. Seemed smart at the time, but it just gets in the way if I want to wear a backup computer or a wrist slate on my left forearm. Regardless, the knife in a sheath on my left hip is what I typically go for anytime I need to cut line thicker than monofilament.

I use 4th element G1 neoprene glove liners almost exclusively. They are warm, tactile, and the one time I managed to cut a glove, the neoprene glove liners essentially just become wet gloves for the rest of that dive, still insulating.
