Same for me - someone commented on the comparison that had been provided earlier and said that even though you couldn't compare manufacturer's specs like for like - there were things in the specs sheets that could instantly rule out a particular model - and a shaft drive is one of those - a shaft and its seals etc is just one more thing that can cause problems.

Yep. @mr_v doesn't want anybody to ignore his beloved Suex because its specs don't measure up.

But, I think it's TOTALLY valid to rule out an option based on specs.

Shaft seal? Dealbreaker.
Open the hull to charge? Dealbreaker.
Can't fly with it? Dealbreaker for some people.

Totally valid to rule one out based on those specs - in my opinion. Especially when there are options that are comparable in all other ways and don't have any of those issues.

That's his choice, everyone including the OP can weigh up all of the information from the various people who have posted and make their own decision.

If money is not an issue I would certainly get a GO. Unfortunately in Norway the Go is now around $7000 and the suex is $5000. Not sure if it is worth that much more.

I guess it depends on what a person needs, if the lower range etc of the Suex is adequate for what is needed then it probably isn't worth spending the extra, if not then they will need to get a Go I guess.
