I have a lot of 1911s for some reason. I think a couple of these 1917s.I thought I was doing good finding a K-bottle dated 1918.

Sorry, that was the intent of my post, since I did reference it was bought for me in the early 70's.I re-read the OP and he said oldest functioning piece of gear, he didn't say that we had to be the original buyers. If we have to be the original purchasers as new, then nothing older than 1998 for me.
