hmm?? AL is disposable?? and you will wear it out?? I just wonder how it is possible even under the heaviest usage. Unless you are purposely trying to destroy it.

Attach stainless steel components to it.. it will wear the aluminum.. does it wear it yea, but not to an unusable state. It also becomes an anode... good/bad.. it depends on how you have it rigged.
