Couple of threads got me thinking about the places that I most wanted to dive in the world before I die/quit diving.

For me, i think it is, (in no particular order)

1. Bikni Atoll
2. Palau
3. Northwest Hawaiian Islands marine sanctuary
4. Face to face with Great White Sharks
5. Bonaire
6. Australian Great Barrier Reef
5. Atlantis. (lol, jk about this one)

So, what about you, do you have a "must dive" list?

NOTE: No doubt the inspiration of this topic was sitting here in Georgia with thirty-something degree weather outside.

in no order:

Baja
the rest of Mexico
Florida Keys (in the barbie camper winnebago)
return to Yap
return to Alaska

we come up with new places to add to the wish list all the time but these are the regulars

10. Sharm El Sheik
9. Great Barrier Reef
8. God's Pocket, Vancouver, BC
7. Tubatahha
6. Soccorro Islands
5. Papua New Guinea
4. Raja Ampats
3. Cocos Island
2. Andaman Islands
1. Galapagos Islands

QUIT? Never... not in my vocabulary. My grandfather played golf til just before he died at age 95.

In no particular order:

Galapagos
Similans
Antarctica
PNG
Indonesia
Abrolhas
Fernando de Noronha
South African kelp forests
Chilean kelp forests
Ningaloo
San Andreas, Columbia
Los Roques, Venezuela
Bonaire
Madagascar
Mozambique
Seychelles
Maldives
Cocos
southern Australian/Tasmanian kelp forests
Palau
Truk
Guam
Hawaii
all the Santa Catalina Islands of the world
Cook Islands (outer islands)
Bora Bora and/or Raiatea
Poor Knights, New Zealand
China (Hainan Island?)
Vietnam (Nha Trang)
Mergui Archipelago
Cape Verde Islands
Canary Islands
Red Sea
Coral Sea
Tanzania

then visit all the places I've already been (includin g the above).

In other words, I plan to live a long life!

Bonaire
God's Pocket (north end of vancouver island)
Dive with Great whites
Whale sharks
Bikini Atoll
These are just the top of my list, I could dive for the rest of my life all the time and not see everything I would want to.

I'm planning on dying before I quit diving. But, I'll still give you a list:

Bikini
Truk
East coast wrecks
Australia
Palau
All the Florida caves
Anywhere else with good wrecks.

I probably would have included the Andrea Doria in my list, but from what I've heard it's deteriorated badly and almost not worth the effort anymore.

This is pretty cool, i might steal a couple of your destinations for myself! Definetly should have included the Galapagos

I want to enjoy... how shall i say... intimate relations at 40M. And to record the event for proper dive logging.

No. Seriously.
