I'VE DONE THAT!

Actually, I took the lenses out of a pair of military-issue glasses (because the front surfaces of the lenses were flat) and glued 'em to the inside of an oval mask. Worked great.

I used it for snorkeling for a while, and part-way through my OW cert. Then I bought a 'low profile' mask with perscription lenses. Not sure it was worth the money, though.
