Thanks Herman, I really like that suggestion. I will be working on this project this weekend.:bounce:

Be aware guys that Fla's Lobster mini-season starts the day after you leave. You may notice a few extra folks on the water(if the weathers bad here I'll be one of them.)You Fla boys behave,we do have reputation to protect you know......;)

Tony:
If the lobster mini season starts on the day AFTER we leave, those that want to stay on for the rest of the week, can dive and catch lobsters?
:sunny:

To catch lobster during the mini season you'll need to have a license with a crawfish stamp and follow the applicable laws, but it certainly can be done.

Hmmm....lobstering....something I can't do here in the Texas mudholes....

Whatcha say Pete?? Have a bug hunt the day after Wreckmania?

Sounds good... I do want to point out a couple of things about the Florida Spiney Lobsters...

1) They have calanders... they disappear the day after the season starts and reappear the day after it ends.

2) The males buy bottles of caviar, and decorate themselves with it during season.

3) They wear girdles on their carapace to make them shorter.

4) They just don't play fair!

5) I still don't have the crawdad stamp thing figured out. Dem's big Crawdads, Bubba!

6) The successful Lobster hunter will have invariably forgotten his license. Subsequently, they will then be checked out by a game warden.

7) It is customary to eat the first lobster you catch underwater on the sea floor. Preferably lower than 90 feet.

8) Without a doubt, you will find your lobster in the last place you look for it, or you won't find it at all.

9) Never worry where you stick your hand while trying to catch that slippery lobster. They would NEVER go in the same crevice as a moray or other toothy denizen.

10) They just don't play fair!

Brain storm! When it rains it's cloudy. Or something like that.
We can just gather them all up during our course and stick them in a closet. Then go back when the season opens. Wheww What a plan. See if they dont play fair why should we.

Mmm maybe we can catch some for the grill? So what's the deal on getting a license? How much does it cost, and how do we send away for it?
Also, Dee did mention that she wanted to stay more days. I think I will let the resort know who wants to stay on, so it won't be a problem if lots of people will be in town for this mini season.
Who else wants to stay, and for how long?

While many throughout FLorida "enjoy" the mini-season, the majority of those traveling to our fair state to enjoy it go all the way down to the Keys. However, it won't hurt to figure it out.
