The original post reminds me of an incident about 10 years ago during the Canadian National Skydiving Championship. Someone stole the parachute of one of the accuracy jumpers. Unfortunately for him it was a one of a kind chute which looked like the Canadian flag. He later showed up at a drop zone and jumped it. During the plane ride up for his second jump the cops were called. I can't believe this knob actually thought he'd get away with it.
