I keep my Remora centerlined on my harness waist strap. That way it's always in the same position and I can reach it with either hand..
I wouldn't be all that comfortable with it on the inflator hose.

Me too. I don't have problems with being sufficiently ham-fisted to risk stabbing things when I return my knife to the sheath.

On the mid-point of the waist strap, I would be very scared of accidental 'hose' puncture! :rofl3:

I keep mine on my hose so I can reach it easily. It's blunt so it won't jab the suit or hose, and I'm wearing lots of neoprene, so I'd have to actively saw for a few moments before I hit skin.

I mean, I've had some dives where the vis has been bad, but not that bad.

....whatever you do...keep the knife small...subtle.....stowed...as has already been beaten to death in assorted threads already, a fair number of places/dive ops/boats prohibit knives or at least severely frown on them.
