It was once part of the ScubaBoard banner. Pete gave it to me for an avatar shortly after it was no longer being used by SB.

Now it's one of the seahorse pix I took last time I was in Cozumel.
I like to change it up when the mood strikes. I usually have some shot I like...
Last one was the top of the arch at Maracaibo, and a few folks recognized it. That was fun.

Good thread! I've wondered about other folks' avatar choices.

Just a good picture of Sue and I, on a catamaran heading to Isla Mujeres. I take a lot of pictures, but I'm not in many. For the obvious reason that Sue is better looking.

There was a mouse cartoon character in the late 50's and early 60's that was called Herman and since in the early days of scuba board we had to choose from a list of them, I took the gray mouse. Now since it is (I think) the oldest active Avatar on SB I want to keep it as a reminder of the early days of SB

Mine is a Cessna 177 RG, Cardinal Retract. The airplane I fly the most. The plane belongs to Donna, if I am nice, I get to fly it.

My signature line? DSSW (Dive Safe, Share Water) the rest, because it's true.

I stole mine from Sesame Street. I have been called Grover since high school. My mane is Richard Grove and when you put it last name and first initial, it comes out Grover. I had a different avatar on the Harley Davidson sight and another admin guy changed it to this. I like it so I left it.
