This whole thread on CESA has stayed pretty civil. I got myself in a twist a time or two but learned a lot.
Of course enclosed enviroments, wrecks and caves etc are no place for any CESA.
I still think that the skill itself is just one more skill any diver should have available. Perhaps it is because I have actually used it once or twice in the "old days" J-valve tanks, no PG's etc.
What I continue to take from this thread is the importance of gas management, situational awareness, redundant systems and other methods that will help reduce/eliminate the need for any CESA.
