To the best of my knowledge they were where I just drew a red X. Did you see a lot of dead shells by any chance?

yeah i got out into alotr of dead shessl and more corse bottom i did a little diggin there but just came up with a few muscles and alot of dead shells

various sized, and all kinds of different kinds
 
Hmmm maybe not then. There's this new clam disease going around that gets the 2 year old quahogs and can kill up to 90% of them and I thought I found a couple of sick ones over there in October. What were you digging with? I'd think one of those little 3 pronged garden scratchers would work well.
