Ah ScubaTexan... I have no problem with my age! In fact I'd much rather be my age than that of those a bit younger than you, many of whom do not seem to have a sense of values or ethics. I am proud to have survived the era of the belt and corporal punishment... not to mention surviving the many decades of abuse I've given my body breathing gasses underwater under pressure!

Of course I plan to live to a ripe old age so I may only be middle aged these days. Why, I might even see the Cubs repeat... in a few more decades!

LOL...Touche! I bow in respectful reverance to your wisdom and experience. May you be, in the words of Bob Dylan, Forever Young! :)

Go Yankees!!!!!!
May the curse of the Bambino live on!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

And if that wasn't loud enough for you, let me crank it up a bit...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

ScubaTexan- Of course I really am mentioning my longevity as a Cubs fan to indicate the severity of my frustration and the desire to win it all!

FIVE wins to go, but it is fine with me if we do it one at a time Natasha!

:naner:

At least these two teams are acting more civilized than they were in Boston yesterday. Even if Sammy tried a wuss dive. ;)

Marc

A wuss dive by Sosa, FLL Diver? Why them's fighting words. Oops, we have to maintain the civility in this contest at least. You are right on that one!

Actually I didn't see it as I was under on my third dive.

Just heard Zimmer's apology on the late news. Must admit... he took responsibility for his part in the melee and acknowledged the negative effect it might have on baseball. I thought it showed some class. He didn't whine and sounded sincerely concerned. Bravo.

...Zimmer should still have been thrown out of the game. No matter what you may think of Pedro, you can't just make a beeline for him and attack him. Pedro was more than justified for what he did. :upset:

Hey ScubaTexan I agree. I think his apology suggested Zimmer himself agreed that he did wrong. I don't think Pedro deserved the fine he received. He was defending himself and Zimmer looked to be the perpetrator. Kick all the bums out, especially those earning more than $200,000 a year. But only after the Cubs win!
