I really really really thought this was the time they would finally do it.
But, 'oh well' guess not.

There's always next year.

Congrats to the Marlins.

I am so not interested in a Marlins-Yankees series. I was really rooting for Cubs-Sox, Fenway and Wrigley. Oh well, I am sure the Florida members of the Board are celebrating and rightly so!

Sorry, Natasha, that the good vibes weren't quite enough :) !

Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright.
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light.
And, somewhere men are laughing, and little children shout,

but there is no joy in Chicago -- the mighty Cubs have struck out.

GO MARLINS!

It is a saaaad day in the Windy city, beleive me. It's like the wind got knocked out of us. See ya and good divin, George;-0 ;-0 ;-0

Northbrook. IL, is to blame for the Cubs loss. First the fan from Northbrook reaches in to prevent an out, then this diver from Northbrook (albeit decades ago) schedules a dive trip to Talcott Shoals off Santa Rosa Island for the days of the last two games. I had to listen to portions of those games on radio. Every game I watched on TV the Cubs won.

Sorry Cub fans, I guess diving won out over the playoffs. At least the sea conditions were great at the Shoals and vis decent. If only Light & Motion had got my underwater housing back to me in time to take on the dives I could have dealt with the Cubs loss (as I have my entire life).
