may or may not be too late for us since we arrive there 6/12, butno matter - we are staying at the Habitat Curacao in a Lanai. Read lots of testimonials - honestly should we stay or shoud we go? thx

Hi pob1218 and welcome to the board.

I stayed at the Habitat, about 1 and a half years ago, for Thanksgiving week. If you like to dive, it's great. The house reef is available 24 hours a day. I also found the food to be pretty good, but then again I'm not a very fussy eater.
Some of the others from my trip made the trip to town and commented on how long the ride was or how expensive the cab ride back was. I can't comment about the town because all I wanted to do was dive, and I did plenty of that.
If you go the the ABC Islands section here, you can do a search and you will find much info.

Good luck and have a great trip.

There is a question on the Regional Forum almost similiar to yours. Here is the link:
http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/q-resorts/ This forum is a great resource to meet divers locally near you and also to get the opinions of the "locals" in the areas of the world you wish to dive!

Good luck!
