"You typically don't get the opportunity to dive San Francisco, Yucab..." Those were your words, Christie, and I did read them closely. I don't know what is going on, cuz I certainly didn't mean to get into a p...g contest, but I do know where those reefs are, they are VERY close to the Allegro. Dive Palancar goes there all the time--quickly.

Not sure why you brought up Iberostar, cuz I certainly didn't. My comments were focused on the Allegro as just another good alternative to consider for someone who wants a good place to stay with an on-site PADI dive operation. Dive Palancar is a very professional outfit, in my experience, and it's irrelevant to say how long their boats would take if they were in San Miguel, because they are not.

Of course, all of this is so much irrelevant blather compared to the threat that Wilma poses. Crossing my fingers and saying a little prayer for you that Wilma does Cozumel, and you, little harm.
