... I figured if I was going to place an order, might as well get some of these reflective stickers for tanks, scooter, etc.

Hey I catch you putting your initials on my scooter I'll chase after you with my DIR-approved cut off steak knife!!!

:)

He's just worried he'll have a hard time finding his doubles on a DIR boat when you have 12 identical sets :D

Dammit! You're on to me. One of you guys is bound to leave an unmarked scooter sitting around at some point. What do they say... possession is 9/10ths of the law? :eyebrow:

When a dozen black-clad divers in doubles and jetfins and with canlights and black masks descend upon the octopus under the concrete block, you need SOMETHING to tell you who you came to the party with . . .

I have "S T F U" in reflective stickers on my dpv... does that count?

Meng_Tze:
Home Depot house numbering stickers 3" high, reflective background on left hand side of doubles sets. Why?

To ID my tanks in a set of similar tanks, for buddies to recognize me if diving in herds.... reflective... well. it just is reflective and at 50Ct per sticker... I am not complaining :D

BTW it is a cool sight when you return to your tanks and they 'shine' back at you....

So the $0.50 Home Depot Black letters on White reflective background really work? How long do they last?

Been meaning to do this for sometime now but haven't yet... also have gotten advice that says if I ever plan on doing salt water with these tanks, no decals are better...

well, let me put it this way...... the lettering only comes off when you scrape them. I drop stages in caves and the lettering comes of due to wear and tear against rocks. It is not the glue that comes loose. So yes they work perfectly. Have had a set on my salt water doubles..... still there after three years or so. Just make sure you put them on a clean surface.
