Anything is possible. Biggest problem Is the loss of income leaving early.
I can look into a trade.

As far as Channel Island live-aboards go, I've been out on the Peace and the Truth Aquatics boats. They're both great operations. I like the crew best on the Peace, and the boats best with Truth Aquatics. You'd be there during lobster season, so a fishing license with a So. Ca. ocean stamp would be a good idea if you want to try your hand at bug hunting. It's a total blast, even when you don't do well.

I think I'd rather do the NYE trip. It's with my dive shop, I would know more people and it's cheaper.

Is anyone planning to go on that one this year?

Looks like this year I'm working over that trip as well.
