Unfortunately not. The average depth i lost it was 95 fsw and we had been on trigger for 25 minutes. I didn't realize the strap had broke until we got near the start point and I wanted to video a dog fish. 2 dives now and nothing either time. The area is on a slope down to 150 ish.

Edit: vis between 0-10 was sub 1ft, my hand didn't exist. 10-20 was about 2 ft, I couldn't see my compass mid scooter. 20-40 ft was about 3 feet. 40-60 ft was about 5ft. 60-80 was about 8 ft. 80-120 ft was about 12 ft. The whole dive was a night dive even though it was 1610-1740 and sunset wasn't until 2130.
Man, I thought our vis was bad! Where were you, Commencement Bay? You would be luck to find an intact wrench in that kind of vis. Well, the important thing is that you tried.

Redondo in Des Moines, WA. I've never seen it that bad around there. I watched a pair of divers walk back out after I told them what vis is like. They tried and immediately said no lol.

Beautiful area. We lived in Des Moines when we first got married, early ‘90s. Majorly different part, up from the marina by 101. It was my wife’s apartment from when she moved to the area from Boston. She used to walk to the Safeway and couldn’t understand why guys were always offering her lifts. I had to explain to her that it was a strip of road that was well known for prostitution. She never walked to Safeway by herself again 😂.

Edit: I’ve been in New England for too long. I meant 99, not 101.

any sherwater perigrine Tx user around ?

Used up most of the HP 80 (2200 psi) that was left over from Sundays dive. Got almost 2 hours in off the beach. Max depth 17 fsw. There are some new modules the city placed off the beach around Memorial Day. Was pleasantly surprised at the algae growth. A single tarpon patrolled the area. I hung out at the modules for a while playing with my camera before venturing out further. I still had plenty of air left when I turned the dive. But the parking meter was ticking low and I already got quota of tickets this year.
