Although I do have to confess, zero solo dives today. Met a fellow SB member, and maintained contact through all 4 dives!

There are no Solo Police. Solo dive the way you want to. IMHO, of course.

ETA: Oh, wait. We already had this discussion, most recently beginning back on post #682 in this thread. Maybe in earlier posts here, too. Deja vu all over again!

Agreed. My plan was to lay some guidelines since we had not dove together before. I usually do this solo, but was running a bit behind that morning. All worked out well, and had some fun dives.

Enjoyed a one hour solo dive this morning at Stockton Lake. Was trying out my new can light (Archon DH-26 II) and breathing my 85's down before filling. Also first time carrying a slung AL40 in some months, so was glad that went well. Really like the 6° hotspot on the Archon.

Vis in the shallows was good at 8-12 feet, dropping to 3-4 past the thermocline.

I assume it is Archon, but they may have a contract with a manufacturer that puts their name on it. I will take a look at the paperwork as soon as my coffee is ready, and will post what I find.

Sorry, I misunderstood! I ordered through eBay. If I remember correctly, I ordered on 7-11 and had a delivery date of 8-1. Light arrived on 7-23.
