Sorry to hear about the fish do you think it could recover if the spear was removed? Glad to hear that you are back in the water. My usual place... the Casino Point Dive park on Santa Catalina Island off "Lost" Angeles. Saw three wreckfish (aka GSBs). Sadly one had about a 4 ft long spear shaft sticking out from behind its left operculum. I couldn't get closer to it as it was definitely spooked about divers. I'd like to find the person who did that!

Hi @Zieg do you happen to be with @Ana ? If not, sure seems like you have similar dive lives, I'm enviousThis morning my wife and I did our weekly solo dives off Pompano Beach. Since it's just the two of us, I usually make the first dive, then she does her dive. If it's a spectacular day we'll get two dives in. Today was gorgeous but the seas weren't flat, coño. So we only did a single each. Vis was great, I'd guess at least 80 feet. No current. Plenty of turtles, fish, and the lobsters were out walking about, bastards. We dove the reef in 50-70 feet. Planning on doing the same tomorrow morning.
Ha, she drives, you dive, you drive, she dives, the perfect coupleYeah, she's the perfect wife. We're both lounging under the gazebo posting on separate threads.
