yesterday i dove in Destin -- the jetties, Its one of my favorite sports. I get to to see the suns rays coming through the water and clipper ships going in and out. Its pretty awesome to see

Did a nice, 80 minute solo dive at my local mudhole last evening. The place was hopping with critters ... and there were only two other divers there, who I didn't see the whole dive once I dropped below the surface. Took over 100 pictures ... here's some favorites from the dive ...

Beautiful shots! NWGDiver.

Today, I did two solo dives in Lake De Smet, Wyoming. These were my first solo dives in a dry suit - I just got certified dry this week.

The diving was superb and peaceful.

Solo dive in Palm Beach yesterday; got in as a frontal system approaches. You know the weather is ugly when your helper is wearing a dive mask.

After my dive, the others did a second dive and it got worse 25 kts + and heavy rain.

On December 30th at the Poor Knights Islands, New Zealand off the dive charter boat "Arrow" with Yukon Dive, Tutukaka.

Here is a bit of video.

Last week:
Butler Bay in St. Croix. Kicked out from the beach to a couple of the wrecks. I think it was the "Virgin Islander", a 300 ft long barge and the "Coakley Bay", an 83 ft oil tug sunk in 1999. 85 ft depth, 43 min. 80 alum with my pony. Found my spear I dropped a few days earlier. Speared a beautiful and good sized lion fish. saw tons of sting rays and barracuda. One turtle. Exquisite dive.

With crappy surface conditions in Key Largo on Thursday, Friday and Saturday: the Eagle, Spiegle Grove, Davis Deep, Crocker (both reefs several times). Only dove Duane with a buddy. Hit roughly 110 on SG and Eagle. Still had a good time with the folks at Conch Republic and the team from Deep South Divers in Atlanta
