Where are the Lion Fish

I saw the same fish in the same places on both dives
I had an extensive talk with some marine scientists who were studying the lionfish problem. They said that on some occasions they worked off of boats that had vacation divers who would act as volunteer spotters. When the volunteers saw lionfish, they would send up small SMBs attached to weights and then go on their way. The scientists would eventually get around to each of the markers and pretty much always find that lionfish right about where it had been spotted.

That's one thing in our favor.. They are not moving around.. if they are hiding under the reef.. go back later and good chance you'll see him swimming around..
