Haven't been able to find an exact answer on this one, and have been recently acquiring Faber 120's and trying to avoid the HP variants that were extremely negative. Currently the logic I've been using is if the tank has a working pressure of 3442 then its an FX series as it seems that the HP series was 3180 +10%. However I'm currently looking at picking up another pre owned faber 120 and it was made in 1993. I'm just trying to make sure I don't end up with an HP120 that is 16# negative full instead of the 8.8 of the FX series.

Thanks, so is it safe to assume everything before 2005 is an HP variant and is probably very negative when full? What would be the best way to tell if the tank is an FX series tank? I ask because I picked up two 120's on a whim, born date of 06 with a valve reading "Blue Steel" and a working pressure of 3442, so I think its safe to assume they are FX series tanks. However I found another Faber 120 that was made in 93 but also has a working pressure of 3442, and I'm not sure of its buoyancy characteristics (which I need to verify before I buy).
