What's name of device to pump air from surface

Hi

have seen devices in the past that sit on the surface of the water (eg. device floats in an intertube) while air is pumped to diver via hose

obviously I am looking for this device for very shallow dives (less than 30 feet) around my lake.

not sure what the name of this device is... can someone please fill me in

I think you are talking about SNUBA. As I recall the device is just an air tank.
