I'll be down at Mermet this weekend working the kinks out of some new gear and improving my underwater pumpkin-carving skills.

What kind of new gear ya got, Ken???? Myself, I got a new light, can't wait to get down in the bottom of that quarry and try it out. see ya. steve

Well Tom, as you know I have been slowly been putting to my grave thanks to my employer and peoples desire to need and want trucks. I did manage to find a little time to buy some new tanks that I havent been able to try out yet. Got a real sweet deal on two LP steel 95's. I also replied in the Trips and happening section on the little mini meet and greet but know one must have saw it, because I didnt get an answer. Since everyone seems to be reading this one I will ask again. I have to work on Nov 6th but only 8 hours so I could head down to Gilboa after work. So is anyone still going to be around there about 5 pm maybe we can do a twilight and a night dive if not I wont be able to see you on the 6th. Besides that my only next planned diving is in Florida for two weeks in the end of December. I plan on diving in the keys a few days and in Pompano a few days.

Hmmm...night dive....at Gilboa. It's been a while since I've fired up the told torch for a night dive and blinded my buddy.

I'll have to check on the pass from the wife, but I would love to do a night dive.

I missed my opportunity to fire up my torch on the Saturday dive during the last Meet and Greet. I would be willing to put it on the charger for such an event. If I am going to Gilboa I will be making a day of it, may even need to get some fire wood and do some cooking over it. I guess what I am saying is get your tail to Gilboa regardless of time and I will hit the water with you.

6th still sounds good, no changes in the work schedule.

I plan to be there and a night dive sounds good (weather permitting). Let's see how many of the dangerous Gilboa trout that I can blind with my little 'ol light.

Tom,
anything on the incident this past weekend at Gilboa?

There is a thread about this on the Deco Stop and it has the best info that I have seen on this. As I was marginally around the incident, I feel that it is more respectful to the diver and all involved to keep the gossip to a minimum. I may tell my side of it to the people that I see on the sixth.

I will say that all accounts currently have the diver involved home and doing great!
