Like Biscuit, my experience is also somewhat limited and I also would prefer to dive year round if I had the training, experience, and money. Ultimately I would like to get into dry diving some day, but I'm just not ready for that at this point.

......IMHO buy a hooded vest, and I would suggest go to at least a 5 mil.....I dive only wet , and irregardless of the temp I find the built in hood keeps me very warm.....One reason of course is it prevents the heat loss thru the old noggin and secondly I don't get that cold water rush down the back of my neck.....

BTW 60 and 70 s isn't really that cold you know  ..I find the mid 40 s to mid 30 s cold.......:cold:

Have you ever stayed down for over an hour or even two hours in 60-70 degree water???

It gets a little chilly...
