The Mark 2 Evo has three O-rings now, the additional O-ring seals the replaceable orifice plus the two on the piston. The only thing the Mark 2 Evo has in common with the Mark 2(and 2+) is the name and being an unbalanced flow by piston design. It is really a new regulator, even the ambient ports are enlarged.

Well I absolutely have to have one now.
I’m just thinking long term for when the Earth darkens, parts for everything are gone, companies are OOB, there will be no dive shops left, hell on Earth!, but I’ll have my compressor, my steel 72’s from the 60’s, and my MK2’s hopefully with enough kits for a lifetime….and my plates.

Eric, it is all going to be okay in the end and if it is not okay then it is not yet the end. CHILL :).

But I absolutely agree that you need a Mark 2 Evo as the thing is so freaking simple and bullet proof it is just freaking AWESOME :yeahbaby:.

Scubapro, you went to the effort to completely redesign a legacy product, now please just throw a block of titanium on the mill and make some travel lite versions for primary travel regs for us simple folks and those trimix guys that carry a dozen stages :). Not asking for the moon, just the cheese:cool:.

Ok, I no longer lust over my long lost g260. I got a 250 Graphite from @buddhasummer and it is the best breathing reg ever!
Although servicing them is not hard, getting them to breathe as well as they can most often involves having a bunch of spares and a lot of patience. I build them with love and care and a pinch of OCD. Glad you're happy with it🙏🏻

The last "run" of G250s I did totalled 16 I think and you know what I'm looking for now to dive myself? A G250🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

         🫠
I hope you left one of those beauties for yourself!

I have one I'm getting way to obsessed about😂

It's going to be pretty😊

Forgive my ignorance, but what's the difference, if any, between an "EVO" and a non "EVO"? I use a MK25 but I have no idea if it's "EVO" or not. How would I tell? Thanks.
