3/4x14 thread? I'd grab them in a heartbeat. Other thread? Likely pass unless someone else was asking me to find them some...
3/4 thread, good valves, galvanized outside, bare steel inside (no epoxy liner), one has a born-on date of 1980 the other is a 1975.
Don’t know the reason why they are at the scrap yard?
1. They failed hydro but were not x-ed out
2. Some dumbass didn’t know what they were and and took them to scrap. Maybe they were cleaning out their old mans garage and found them and just figured they could get money for scrap. But in actuality, there is nothing wrong with them.

One has an old VIP sticker from Harbor Dive Center in Sausalito, so I’ll bet they are local.
Hopefully it’s No. 2

I already have 10 tanks, I need this like a hole in the head!

I tend to think a failed hydro would lead to the obligatory X-out. It is part of the hydro shop's DOT compliance. Mostof the time they are over eager rather than not doing it...

My guess is they were wrongfully considered as garbage by someone uneducated...

If they had failed hydro, they would have been condemned - XXXXXXXXX

Don't mean they passed, but . . .

@Divin'Papaw, I have to ask, how do you have 4.5 pairs of fins? Lose one?:)

Yup. I was diving the Castor in Boynton in wicked current. The boat put a mooring ball on the wreck and then dropped us upcurrent to drift into the ball & line. I grabbed the line and the current spun me around so hard that it ripped off one of my fins. It’s now somewhere between Jupiter & Ireland.

There should be an option for tanks. I have enough tanks. Some would say my collection is obsessive.
I have somewhere north of 100, but south of 200 I think.
