Another vote for Sharkskin products. I dive with one of their long sleeve rash guards and really like it. It doesn't fit too tight and gives me protection from the sun and stinging things. Very well made. Not exactly cheap but high quality.

I have a Henderson polyolefin and didn't care for it at all and its been so long since I wore it, in fact I think I sold it, I can’t tell you why I hated it.
Would it be because the Henderson polyolefin suit is front zip? (Most of the other full suits mentioned are the usual back zip configuration). I liked the front zip design.

4th element, similar to lavacore, makes separate tops and bottoms. You could just wear swim trunks and top if you run hot. They’re well made, but pricey and sizing seems really small to me.

I wear a long sleeve loose style fitting rash guard made by Mares. Not too expensive, and fits more like a shirt, not a tight fitting one... but is a rash guard. Many times I wear that with board shorts. I have a one-piece lycra suit that if there are jellies then I will throw that on over my board shorts but under my long sleeve rash guard..
