And can you really believe the 150' viz?
We're going in 3 weeks after being away from Coz for 4 years, but in March of '04 I believe we had all of 150' viz.

Water Surface: Calm With Cats Paws

What does this mean??

Puffs of breeze on fairly calm water can make a shape like a cat's paw ... a reeeaaallly big cat's paw.

Water Surface: Calm With Cats Paws

I wondered about that, too. I think they mean that the water is glassy smooth and when breezes blow across it they make those little swirly patterns.

To keep a little warmer I use a squid cap. Its like a baseball cap in neoprene. I don't have to worry about paper clips and candles. I picked mine up at my LDS. This is a link to an online dive shop I have never used but has squid caps on their site so you can se what it looks like: Buy Innovative Squid Cap CA-PO39 with reviews at scuba.com
It keeps my hair in control and it stays on.

Heat the end of a paper clip and melt a little round hole over each ear. That will prevent you trapping a pocket of air in your ear. And also a hole right at the peak of your head, so you don't get that conehead thing going when your exhaust bubbles find their way into the beanie.

Thanks for the tip...LOL at the image of me swimming around with a cone head!!

Today my diving computer, scuba pro, shows water temp is 81.7F/27.6C
