What is the best ball point pen on the market?

I'm going to try all of them. I've been using a Uniball Gel
but they don't last long and dry out badly.

Thanks again for the tips.
 
A friend's dad is a doctor, he gave me some of the pens from the prescription companies. They work great and the feel good in your hand too. No idea who makes them.
 
I cant believe there is a thread about this, and even worse that I read the whole thing...

Pilot Precise V7 is probably the best disposable ball point pen made. I have been using them for about 10 years now and find I have a hard time writing with anything else.
 
I think this is a very useful thread. I'm taking notes.. :)

Seriously, I either use a Pilot VBall Grip Fine .07 point, or these cheap Papermate Comfortmate pens. I sign a lot of correspondence so I'm always looking for a smooth writing pen.
