What happened to the Lionfish?

cross grouper and flounder and it sort of tastes like that.

Thats probably because grouper and flounder are a staple in their diet.

The big groupers are the only ones eating the lionfish.

I have cleaned and gutting thousands of grouper and never, not once, have I found a lion fish in ones stomach. I am not sure that anything eats one.

They were on the Naeco on Wednesday. The Captain's Lady out of Discovery Diving went out there to kill lionfish to be served at the ECARA event at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores on Saturday. 45 were killed.
