I downloaded it from the Play store right after getting the second Cosmiq off eBay a couple weeks ago. I also downloaded an app to back it up so was able to extract the APK file. Its on another device right now and not sure if this site allows uploading something like that. I just checked and it's still on the Play store.

A ScubaBoard Staff Message...

Hello, thank you for sharing detailed instructions on how to find the APK, and how to get past the login screen. That is very helpful. I think it would best to stop there, and not upload the APK itself to ScubaBoard, or post a direct link to it on DropBox, a torrent, or any similar type of distribution channel.

There is one issue of DeepBlu's intellectual property which we don't want to run afoul of. And a separate issue is that I don't have a way to verify that uploaded APK's are actually safe and not tampered with. Not to accuse you of distributing malware or anything, but it's something that we don't have control over, so can't really condone. A link to an official app store such as Google Play should be fine. Cheers, carry on.

Yeah. Understood. The app is a free download so shouldn't be a problem of IP but I understand you're concern. Ditto on the safety of the apk. It's still on the official Play store, not sure why the other poster cannot find it, I just downloaded it tonight.

I tried to upload the Apk file but it's too big, the site won't let me upload it
Also, FYI, one of the moderator has let me know that they don't allow this as they cannot confirm if the APK is free from malware, etc.

I would suggest finding it on the Google Play store, download it and get an APK extractor program to extract the APK yourself to provide your own backup of the app in case you need to reinstall it later.

On the login screen there's a "skip" at the bottom that skips logging into the Web site, which is no longer working. You can then pair your computer via Bluetooth and make changes to the settings but not download the logbook, but you can download your logbook to the subsurface app. I just downloaded the app and installed it on a tablet I keep in the basement, see the attached screenshot.
Hi!

Can you explain a bit more how you fixed this? I got an old phone with the app and I really want to get my dive logs back

Edit: I have connected my Cosmiq to my phone using the app, but can only change some settings. What is my next step?

Hello, i could export my logs on Cosmiq+ to subsuface, but I cant change the setting on my Cosmiq, if I dont have the deepblu app, right? Unfortunately I only own an Iphone and Ipad and (after the last IOS update?) I cant load the deepbluapp in the appstore anymore. Is there another way, to change settings? Will deepblu fix this problem? Thanks for your help!

But now with the Deepblu's being unsupported, I think it best to keep the Oceanic "just in case"....
I’m going to do the opposite with mine when I do get my Shearwater - keep the Cosmiq as a backup. It’s almost a paperweight. Though, I did dive with it last week and it seems to work.

The app no longer shows up on play store by searching on newer Android devices, however the URL below will take you to the link and tell you "This app isn't available for your device".

Deepblu - Enhance Your Dive - Apps on Google Play

You can use an Android emulator of an older version of Android to download the app.

The play store URL has the "package name" of the app, as "com.deepblu.android.deepblu". Searching google for this apk will lead you to some apks. I cannot say if those apps are malicious or not, but using these apk I successfully managed to update the cosmiq settings.

I can confirm subsurface syncs with the dive computer on Android to get dive logs, and also successfully updates the time on the watch.
