I see it's been discussed here, but any other information? I have a Peregrine already, I want the air integration and I'm on the fence between Perdix and Teric. One standout I see is the Teric formfactor makes it possible to double as a watch on trips. Someone did point out the Perdix takes standard batteries.

I have a perdix and a teric. The teric could be worn as a daily watch, allthough it is a bit bigger than I would prefer for that. It is not much bigger than my garmin 920xt but a good bit heavier.

I find that despite the perdix bigger screen I can read the teric much better under water, the screen is just that much more crisp and bright.

Timex makes several great inexpensive watches that can be worn as a "dive" watch. I keep several spares. My dive computer is separate, I don't wear it except when I'm diving. I don't want to accidentally bang it into anything when I'm not diving. That would effect it's waterproof and I prefer some redundancy.

I was about to add exactly what you wrote. I have a cheap vacation Seiko that I wear on dive trips. Teric for diving only.

Excellent point.

Too big for daily wear for me - I'm 5'3''. Usually only to/from/during diving, but I've never been a watch wearer.
