Mino, what do you think of the D9 Im thanking of one like the all in one thing? were is you shop maybe i can come in and buy direct from you. I'm also looking at DIR I understand you are the go to guy for this? mybe you can help me out with some new stuff.

Can i just ask, what is the differance between the tec and tec2g? they seem to have the same functions, yet the tec is half the price.

Won't go into the technicals aspects as previous posts already touched on that.

Tec 2G is out to replace the original Tec (which has many negative feedback in the market regarding its reliability).........at least that's the case in my market. The remaining Tec that's in the market could probably be old stocks which LDS are allowed to sell out at discount.

I am currently using a Tec2G (a replacement from the distributor for my dead Tec). So far so good.

If that's the type of budget you have for your bottom timer, might want to consider the Vytec w/out the transmitter for larger displays which may come pretty useful underwater. The Vytec can also sit on the DSS boot:

Just don't get a Nitek He ... I've got 14 dives on mine and bent the computer 4 times trying to do DIR-style deco profiles. The thing doesn't like deep stops ... not at all.

I'm selling it and getting another BT ...
