1) Low viz
2) Bad surge
3) Both 1 and 2 at the same time

When I was younger the cold bothered me much more than now (age 49), don't know why.

Interesting. Did you used to live in a colder climate?

My biggest issues with diving:

1. Weekend activities for the kids that prevent me from diving.
2. Hiding the price of gear from my wife - "you paid how much for an Atomic T3 ?!!!"
3. Trying to get a few more days in on vacation to dive.

If time allowed I'd be in the water every day. I'll dive cold, warm, good viz, not so good viz, local, vacation, day, night, essentially anytime I can sneak away and get under water.

1. Air Usage, although I've improved a lot
2. Distracted when taking lots and lots of pics, taking vids from now on.
3. Not having a dive bud

Last one is the hardest to solve... might have to pick up solo diving :/

1. Trim
2. Time
3. Money

I dive to get away from my biggest issues!!! ;)

Well, ok, here are three related to dive performance:

1. Perfect buoyancy and trim. This is always a "work in progress" for me. I'm good when I have visual references, not so much if I close my eyes for a couple minutes.

2. My frog kick suffers from poor hip/knee/ankle flexibility.

3. "Effortless" horizontal trim is harder due to the hip/knee flexibility noted in #2.

Note: I'm forcing myself to improve my flexibility issues.... the side benefit is I provide great entertainment to my family as they watch me attempt yoga poses :dork2:

Best wishes.

Yup. but not really on the coast, but London-town.
Wasn't a bad summer for sea diving this year though. Managed to get about 15-20 in during June, July, and August (plus the usual quarry dives as well). Only blown out twice i think.

That'll teach me - I read it as Kingston upon Hull - not Thames - cheers mate - P
