1. Have to fly several hours to get to warm tropical diving
2. To take vacation, I have to take "no pay" and find a sub if it's not holiday time
3. Money....to take time off without pay and to help pay for dive trips

1. The four hours driving it takes to and from home to the dive op and back all to do two hours underwater

2. Diving with idiots present at the same dive site with no buoyancy control and messing up the already poor visibility

3. Having to get up at 0500 to go "local" diving and usually not back until 1900 the same day

1)The costs related to diving equipment seem to be a little, over inflated, 2)The BS involved in gear bashing, for example: Your reg is junk and you will die if you dive it, 3)Why can't I hit the lottery so as to be able to dive anywhere, anytime????:D

The sheer amount of gear involved. And have to clean, carry, transport, protect from theft, protect from damage, service, inspect, replace it all. Sometimes I think I should just sell it all and rent.

All the time that I am not in the water (driving to the site, driving to get a refill, etc.)

- That I have to equalize my ears and decompress;
- The way Helium affects my voice and taste buds; and
- Equipment transport, cleaning and maintenance (it should be less work). :)

I'm pretty lucky... I can't think of any issues since I live a few blocks from my #1 dive site, am on an island surrounded by water with a wide variety of excellent dive sites, and am free to travel to warmer climes during winter. Perhaps the only issue is that few lovely "lady-go-divers" want to live out on the island and dive "cold" water.

1) Not enough time
2) Not enough buddies
3) Not enough money

1. Finding time from work and family to dive.
2. My dive gear all around the bathroom after it has been washed (it's my wifes biggest issue :)
3. Finding time to fill my tanks.

I really love to sit down by the computer after a dive and go through my photos, fill in my logs and just go through the dives again.
