What are the PADI DM swimtest requirements?

So, you are saying there is nothing in the instructor handbook or other governing docs that makes it a requirement to the three (400, 800, and tread) in one day?

Is it possible that it was a requirement and is not one now? I'm curious, because I specifically asked about this and got the answer I quoted above. Oh well....

No, there is nothing in the 2004 IM about doing them all in one day. I don't know if there was any such requirment in the past.
