On one hand they same like great inventions that increase comfort in a dive. On the other hand, it seems like adding an additional potential point of failure to your kit.

Been looking at the Omni swivel as an add-on. Cheaper brand reviews mention leaks, but Omni has positive reviews.

i had one since 300 dives no problems whatsoever.

I don't use a swivel. I've been diving since 1987, and I've never used one (I actually avoid using them.) I see no point in using a swivel for the recreational diving, in either a BM single or BM baby doubles, that I do. And I saw no point in using a swivel when I was doing Great Lakes extended-range diving.

I use Omni on my stuff, even have a shut off valve in line

I have an atomic hose with swivel, scubapro hose with swivel and also 70 degree DGX swivel. No problems with either.

i use one for some reason it make it easier and more comfortable to stay in my mounts otherwise it cause some kind of jaw fatigue.

I get unpleasant jaw symptoms, including locking, when I don't use the swivel, which eliminates the problem. I'd rather the failure point be on my rig than in my skull.
