im on oral tablets something with hcl , and on corticosteroid spray ( worked for about a week) , ..... dont seem to work anymore , every time i go to doc they give me the same stuff , when i say it doesnt work they say i don't take it properly ( i do though) saw an ENT and he prescribed the same stuff ... i live in an area with a lot of mines , so i believe thats what causes it :( , i think im gonna this nasal rinse thing , every one seems very keen on it , thanks guys

Did the nasal rinse work?

I used to suffer, terribly, due to allergies. 2 to 3 times a year I would have an attack and, bam, a full blown sinus infection. In 2004 I started taking singulair (once a day). After two weeks, or so, I realized the triggers were not affecting me as badly. It has been a wonder drug for me. No side effects such as sleepiness, or nervousness. It is a pill that you have to take every day.....forever, but it has been a life saver for me. FWIW

People at work use sudafed 24 hr , so it doesnt wear off mid dive, causing a block. I myself , touch wood, have never had a problem even with a cold.

when i have a bad bout the docs give me singulair , and it works champion , they however refuse to give me a longer prescription ,,,, sinus rinse worked pretty well , lasted for about an hour or 2 then things started up again
