I just love it when out of town divers come visit. Snowbear was here for a week, and we managed some really nice dives.

Sunday it was the San Juan Islands
Monday, Lobster Shop Wall
Wednesday, Day Island
Thursday she went home, but I did my usual Thursday night dive at The Office
Yesterday, morning at The Office and evening back at Day Island
Today, Hood Canal (Sund Rock)

Got a four-day week-end coming up ... guess what we'll be doing ... :D

Here's a photo show from last night's dive ... Night Dive at Day Island 11-17-07 - PhotoShow Circle

Bob,
Where did you find this? I take it from your previous post it would be Hood Canal you were diving today...but where?
I love Octos and Momma Octos with eggs are my very special favorite...(ok, so I am a bit wierd)..but who doesn't like the possibility of lots of Octos?
Great photo...maybe a cousin of Olive? Hehehe!

Maybe 7-8 feet ... based on sucker size ... she's tucked in pretty well. Had to stick my camera inside the hole and do a blind pan ... the other six shots were either out of focus or not well framed ...

I'm guessing it's around 65 fsw on Sund Rock itself (south wall) and if so the eggs should be hatching sometime soon!

Quite likely ... she was there when we were a few months ago. Although she looks to be in pretty good shape for an octopus who hasn't had a meal in several months ...
