I really like the concept of the X-Shorts, but they're hard to find. Somtimes I'll spot them on Ebay once in a while. What I did was purchase "Paddling Shorts" from Exel wet suits and glued on the Halcyon pockets (Terrific pockets by the way with the exeption of the price) and then had a cobbler renforce the edges with some heavy thread. I've been using it for over 50 dives with no problems at all.
