Wetsuit in water?

I don't think that soaking a wetsuit would make it less buoyant. I thought that an old wetsuit loses it's buoyancy because of constant compression at depth. If you just soak your wetsuit - you aren't compressing it enough to make any difference.

Definitely do a buoyancy check. This should have been covered in your ow class.
