Question Waterproof 01 Hooded Vest Experience?

Has anyone used the Waterproof 01 Hooded Vest? I'd appreciate hearing about your experience with it.

I currently dive in a 5mm Waterproof W8 wetsuit and feel comfortable in water temperatures of 27-29°C. I'm looking for something to add warmth in around 24°C water.

Also, I'm unsure about sizing for the vest. If my wetsuit is a size ML, should I also choose an ML for the Waterproof 01 Hooded Vest? Any insights on sizing would be helpful!

Did you end up getting this vest or finding any reviews of it? I’m interested also, but it’s like it only exists online! I can’t seem to find a single firsthand testimony of anyone using it in the real world. Hope you’ve had better luck and can update.

I have not find any reviews either, but I am thinking of buying it for my January trip. So, I can give the feedback in February. Waterproof advised me that the Hooded Vest should be the same size as the wetsuit.

Hi, I have the W8 7mm suit, and the vest. I have to say, it is excellent. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it, easy donning and dofing thanks to the zipper, the hood is awesome, fits like a glove.

I have the same size as my W8 suit (LT).

BTW, no problem with a 45 minut new years dive in 13 C water.

I just went and looked at mine--I have the U1 hooded vest in L which I wear with a Henderson LS suit.

70, and I was cold!

I had it with 7mm wetsuit in 13 C. 50 minute dive, 3mm gloves. My hands were a bit cold at the end of the dive, but otherwise, i was ok.
